Itinerary

At the Mud Volcanoes, you’ll see a truly unique natural wonder. These volcanoes are known for their bubbling mud and unusual shapes. Some even erupt with mud and gas, creating a fascinating sight. This area is home to nearly half of the world’s mud volcanoes, making it a special place to explore.

Next, we will visit Gobustan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is famous for its ancient rock carvings. These petroglyphs are over 40,000 years old and show pictures of early humans, animals, and tools. You will learn about the history of the people who lived here long ago and how they used to survive in this area.

After Gobustan, we’ll head to the beautiful Bibiheybat Mosque. This mosque is an important place for the people of Azerbaijan. It has stunning architecture and a peaceful atmosphere. You’ll have the chance to take pictures and enjoy the view of the Caspian Sea nearby.

Our next stop is Ateshgah, the ancient Fire Temple of Baku. This fascinating place was used by Zoroastrians, an ancient religion that worshiped fire. You’ll learn about the rituals that took place here and why this temple is so significant to the history of Azerbaijan.

Then, we’ll visit Yanardagh, also known as the 'Burning Mountain.' Here, natural gas comes out of the ground and burns continuously, creating a beautiful flame that has been burning for centuries. It’s a remarkable sight to see, especially at sunset!

Finally, we’ll explore the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre, which is an architectural masterpiece. The building is known for its unique, flowing design and is a symbol of modern Baku. Inside, you’ll find interesting exhibits that showcase Azerbaijani culture, art, and history, making it a great place to learn.
